LAFD SCHOLARSHIP FUND CIVILIAN BOARD MEMBERS

John Anglin has been serving since 2014 as a director of the LAFD Scholarship Fund and as the organization’s Secretary. He was born in Boston and grew up in Los Angeles.  He graduated from USC in 1969 and USC School of Law in 1972.  Mr. Anglin is a partner in the Pasadena law firm of Anglin Flewelling Rasmussen Campbell & Trytten, LLP, where he specializes in corporate and real estate law. He has served as a director of public companies, privately-held companies, and other non-profit entities.

Richard J. Barrett has been serving since 2007 as a director of the LAFD Scholarship Fund and has served as the organization’s President since its inception. He was born in Chicago and has lived in California since 1986.  He received a BA in 1971 and MBA in 1977 from Harvard University. He also served as a commissioned officer in the US Navy from 1972 to 1975.  Mr. Barrett retired from business in 2011, but had 34-year career as an investment banker specializing in Financial Institutions.

G. Louis Graziadio III has been serving since 2007 as a director of the LAFD Scholarship Fund. Louis was born and raised in California. For over 40 years, Mr. Graziadio has been active in real estate development, construction, corporate finance and investment banking. He is also a member of the Pepperdine University Board and serves on the Board of Visitors of Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management.

Victoria Davies Leck has been serving since 2015 as a director of the LAFD Scholarship Fund.  She was born and raised in northern California and graduated from UCSB in 1967.  In 1968, she received her teaching credential from UCLA and was a teacher, full or part time, until 2007 when she retired.  Currently, Ms. Leck is a classroom volunteer and involved in the LA Junior League.

Thomas J. Mizo has been serving since 2007 as a director of the LAFD Scholarship Fund.  Tom was born in, Pennsylvania, but has lived in California since 1989.  He graduated from Boston College in 1968 where he also received a law degree in 1972. Mr. Mizo has spent his career in the real estate business and is currently a Senior Managing Director at HFF Securities, a real estate investment banking firm.

Robert Nicholas has been serving since 2010 as director of the LAFD Scholarship Board and in his third year as the organization’s Treasurer.  He was born in California and graduated from USC in 1970.  Mr. Nicholas is the President, of M & N Corporation, a real estate management company.

Molly Dee Taylor has been serving since 2015 as a director of the LAFD Scholarship Fund. Molly was born and raised in Ohio and has lived in the Los Angeles area since 1980. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1974.  Ms. Taylor worked for almost 40 years as an Advertising/Media Executive and retired in 2013.  She also serves on the Board of Directors of Pasadena Guild of Children’s Hospital.
